Jim Reeves – Up Through The Years – LPM 3427

Trace the brilliant recording career of Country Music Hall of Famer “Gentleman” Jim Reeves with this original 1965 mono vinyl pressing of Up Through the Years (RCA Victor, LPM-3427 / Dynagroove Mono).

Released shortly after his tragic passing in 1964, this retrospective compilation spans the full evolution of Reeves’ signature sound. From his early 1950s uptempo chart-toppers like “Mexican Joe” and “Bimbo” recorded for Abbott Records, to the lush, velvet-voiced Nashville Sound ballads that made him a global superstar for RCA Victor, Up Through the Years stands as an essential chronicle of one of country music’s greatest vocalists.
