Eli Young Band Jet Black & Jealous Audio CD Republic Nashville

Description

Step into modern Red Dirt and contemporary country-rock history with Eli Young Band – Jet Black & Jealous, released on Universal Republic Records in association with Republic Nashville and Carnival Recording Company. Serving as the band’s critical stepping stone from regional Texas circuit heroes to mainstream country powerhouse, this 2008 album established Mike Eli, James Young, Jon Jones, and Chris Thompson as one of the premier self-contained country bands of their era.

Produced by heavyweight Nashville craftsmen Frank Liddell and Mike Wrucke, Jet Black & Jealous weaves ringing electric guitars, driving rhythm section grooves, and raspy, emotive lead vocals. Featuring breakthrough radio staples like the nostalgic anthem “Always the Love Songs” and the moody rocker “When It Rains”, the record captures the full, authentic band chemistry that separates real playing outfits from standard studio projects. Complete with genuine radio promotional markings, this CD is an essential addition for Texas music enthusiasts, modern country listeners, and music collectors.
