Earl Scruggs I Saw the Light Vinyl LP Columbia KC 31354

Step into one of the most celebrated bluegrass and country-rock collaboration sessions of the early 1970s with Earl Scruggs – I Saw the Light with Some Help from My Friends, released in 1972 on Columbia Records (Catalog No. KC 31354). Following his historic work with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on Will the Circle Be Unbroken, banjo pioneer Earl Scruggs brought together an all-star lineup of bluegrass masters, folk-rock icons, and Nashville session musicians.

Featuring guest appearances by Linda Ronstadt, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Vassar Clements, Norman Blake, Randy & Gary Scruggs, and Tracy Nelson, this album seamlessly bridges traditional banjo picking with 1970s acoustic country rock.
