1978-1981 Subaru Brat Passenger Door Shell – OEM White – 1st Gen
Description
This is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Passenger Side Door Shell for the 1978-1981 Subaru Brat. As a first-generation part, this is a critical find for enthusiasts restoring the early “Gen 1” models.
Features & Condition:
Exterior: Comes in original white paint. Includes the factory-style dual black/chrome protective body molding strips.
Fitment: Designed specifically for the 1978, 1979, 1980, and 1981 Subaru Brat. This shell style also fits the period-correct Subaru Leone/GL Coupes.
Internal Structure: The interior door card area is stripped, showing the original white metal and internal bracing. Window regulator and lock mounting points appear to be in good usable condition.
Condition Notes: This is a vintage “survivor” part. It shows some expected surface wear, light scuffs, and minor oxidation along the very bottom edge (hem) typical of Subaru steel from this era. It remains a very straight and solid candidate for professional prep and paint.
Note: This is a bare shell. Handles, glass, and interior panels are not included.
